Waves of Solitude

Art or Just Pictures?
Marie Leclerq is a reclusive, self-described “picture maker” who resists the title of artist, focusing instead on capturing everyday moments in vibrant yet minimalist scenes. Using her iPad as her primary medium, she prints her digital creations onto canvas, portraying ordinary moments with a quiet simplicity. Critics are skeptical of her work, viewing her refusal to embrace deeper artistic purpose as a lack of substance, dismissing her pieces as too simplistic or emotionally detached.
